what is
urban campfires?
URBAN CAMPFIRES is a monthly acoustic house concert series featuring the finest
singer/songwriters from around the country performing in the beautiful and cozy Lion's Field facility [SW corner of Mulberry and Broadway on the
Brackenridge Park Campus]. This new venue has an easy access parking lot, comfortable
seating, a kitchen, large area for the potluck dinner and plenty of seats--all good ones.
Starting at 7:00 pm, and always nonsmoking, URBAN CAMPFIRES is a
wonderful way to enjoy live music without the hassles of going to a
club. Between sets we enjoy a potluck dinner and URBAN CAMPFIRES always
provides the coffee, iced tea, plates, etc.
Most shows are $15 in advance or $18-20 at the door,
though some shows may be higher (price will be indicated on the UC home
page). All admission goes directly to the artist. Attendance is limited to 100 people, so reservations are highly recommended [but
not necessary]. Bring a
potluck dish or dessert and join us for a wonderful evening of great food and
entertainment!
